A performance depicting the stories of an old Istanbul mansion, with video art, Ottoman/Turkish music mixed with live looping and live foley accompanying a retake on traditional Turkish storytelling techniques. This multimedia play from Istanbul is based on the writer/director/performer Yesim Ozsoy's own family history.
GalataPerform, an Istanbul based theatre company working internationally, co-produced this play as part of a multi-national co-production titled “Haunted Houses” on the concept of nation, developed for War or Peace Festival at Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin with the support from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
